Surfers' house in Manoa

 I used to live in the neighborhood of Manoa in Honolulu, and the sight of this house, that I would pass by on my way home, always brought a smile to my face. The surfboards waiting by the entrance, the shoes scattered by the door, the birds of paradise growing by the fence and the inviting chairs in the yard seem quintessential of the sweetness of life in Hawaii.
