"Seeing what has happened on Maui has been heartbreaking for all of us to witness.I wanted to do what I could to support the relief efforts, so when 'Kiikau Printers' created an opportunity for artists to participate in that effort, doing what we love to do, I knew I had to contribute an artwork specifically made for this cause.
In this piece, "Healing Waters" I wanted to capture the beauty of Hawai'i while honoring the loss and grief that has taken place. I also wanted to represent the glimmer of hope in the healing journey that is yet to come through the depiction of water in this powerful place."
